About me

Hello! I am a female cat. My name is Migotka. I am a clever cat, just believe me. I have the sixth sense. When I see that my mistress hasn’t really continued blogging, I try to write myself. I know everything what my mistress is  reading about. I know that female cats often appeared in Anton Chekhov’s works. But I’ve come here, to WordPress.com., to sing my and my mistress’s songs, not Chekhov’s.

Hello,Migotka. You are very beautiful and I am honored that you’re following my blog, WordThoughts. I know cats have very deep thoughts about language; T.S. Eliot knew this too.

Does your name mean something in Polish?

Hello, Writejudi. Thank you very much for kind words.
Migotka is a noun of feminine gender formed from the verb “twinkle”. (In Polish there are special suffixes to form nouns of feminine, masculine and neuter gender.)

    Hello Migotka and Maria,
Thank you for following my blog. Migotka looks like the reverse of my cat Jake. He is a black and white and a wonderful character. I look forward to reading more of your blog.
