Stinging Nettles

“If you are not afraid of being stung by nettles, come by the narrow footpath that leads to the lodge, (…)”
“Ward No. 6” by Anton Chekhov

The nettle is intrusive in our garden. It is growing everywhere, so it is necessary to treat as the weed, because nettles will choke other plants.

Accidental touch of stinging nettle is not disturbing at all. My mistress got used to it. She even got to like it. Perhaps in the following year she will find a special patch for growing nettles only.

I prefer the cut trunk than staying among nettles.

Great work? Gross exaggeration. But thank you very much.
Reading Chekhov’s works and the reference to reality is something like autotheraphy for my mistress.
My mistress overplayed her hand planting too many vegetables. Now she have too much work. Soon she will remove weeds from vegetable beds and will be continuing blogging.
