About Fault

“People living in a collective prison cell; they are not a community, not artel imposed obligations on its members, but a gang, releasing them from all responsibilities in relation to their space, neighbour and subject. (…) If the prison cell stinks or there is no living because of theft, or they sing dirty songs; the fault in it belongs to all, that is to say, nobody is guilty.”
“Sakhalin Island” by Anton Chekhov

Chekhov noticed the following relation: Everyone is guilty – means … nobody is at fault.

This principle is functioning not only in prison, but in elegant office blocks. It is the cause of terrible environmental decay. It is the cause that terrible felonies are just being committed on the mankind.
