Call for Love

“Epaminond Maximovitch, why are you so melancholy? A bridegroom shouldn’t be! Aren’t you ashamed of yourself, you wretch? Well, what are you thoughtful about?
“The Wedding” by Anton Chekhov

There is a brilliantly illuminated room at the wedding but love has gone.

The orchestra is playing the music at the wedding but love is not here.

People dance, propose a toast, eat and drink but between the bride and the groom no love at all.

Why do they marry? And can they teach their children to love?

Hey, the bride and the groom, what do you think? The marriage is a trick here?
